- Prepare 2 tsp olive oil
- Take to taste salt
- Prepare For Potato Wedges
- Take 6 long potatoes cut lengthwise 1/2" thick
- Make ready 8 cloves garlic crushed
- Make ready 6 tbsp corn flour
- Prepare 1/2 tsp black pepper

- Take oil for deep frying
- Make ready For The Saute Vegetables
- Get 200 gms. carrot cut lengthwise 1/4 " thick
- Prepare 100 gms. french beans cut into 3" pieces
- Prepare 1 cup shelled peas
- Prepare 100 gms. fresh mushrooms cut into halves
- Take 2 tbsp butter
- Make ready 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Get to taste salt
- Prepare For Plating
- Take 250 gms. spinach leaves shredded coarsely / or shredded cabbage
- Make ready 4 cheese slices or 4 cubes grated cheese
- Prepare 2 tsp bar-b-que sauce diluted (optional)
- Get 2 tbsp soft butter diluted in 1/4 cup water
- Make ready 4 heavy iron sizzler plates on wooden frames
Steps to make Vegetable Sizzler:
- For the tikki
- Mashed potatoes
- Add carrots, beans, capsicum, bread crumbs, green chillies, pepper, lime juice & salt. Mix all together. Divide the mixture into 4 & Shape into round tikkis.
- Make corn flour batter by adding little water.Dip the tikkis one by one in the batter.Coat the tikkis with crushed corn flakes.
- Heat a non-stick pan. Shallow fry the prepared tikkis using oil on both sides till crisp.
- Keep hot.
- For The Pasta
- Heat a non-stick pan
- Add oil on medium.
- Saute crushed garlic for 1 minute.
- Add pasta, milk & mix well. Bring it to boil.
- Sim the flame & add cream, cheese, sugar, salt, oregano & mix well.
- If the pasta sauce dries then add some diluted milk. The sauce should be thick & blended well.
- Keep hot.
- For The Wedges
- Mix garlic, salt, pepper, corn flour with the potatoes.
- Keep in fridge for 1 hour.
- Deep fry in small batches till they are crisp.
- Keep hot.
- For The Saute Vegetables
- Semi-boil carrots, beans, & peas.
- Heat butter & saute mushrooms on high flame. Add rest of vegetables.
- Add pepper & salt.
- Toss well.
- Keep hot.
- For The Plating
- All the items should be cooked, hot & kept ready
- Heat the iron plate on high till very hot.
- Place it on the wooden frame carefully.
- Immediately sprinkle spinach all over.
- Place 1 tikki, 1 portion pasta, few wedges, saute veggies one by one on the plate.
- Top the tikki with bar-b-sauce & a slice of cheese.
- Sprinkle diluted butter all over for the sizzle!!
- Serve piping hot with different sauces.
