- Take a pressure cooker, add oil, heat it.
- Add tejpatta & dry red chilli, sauté it for a sec.
- Add hing & zeera, let it splutter.
- Now add onion sliced, stir fry it till brown. Add veggies, fry it.
- Add khichdi mix, stir fry it for a while. Add ginger garlic paste now.
- Stir fry khichdi for a while.
- Now add haldi & salt, stir fry it for a while.
- Add garam masala powder, again stir it.
- Now add water accordingly so as to keep the khichdi dry. Add sugar also.
- Place the lid, give 4 -5 whistles.
- Switch off the flame, take out in a serving dish.
- Have it with desi ghee, dahi, achaar, chutney, salad or papad.
